How do I record an entry?
Tap the record button at the bottom of the screen and start speaking. When you're done, tap stop. Your recording will upload automatically when you have an internet connection.
How long can my recordings be?
Each recording can be up to 30 minutes long.
How do summaries work?
After your recording uploads, our AI processes it and creates summaries at four time scales:
- Weekly - the rhythm of your days
- Monthly - emerging themes and priorities
- Seasonal - how you've grown over three months
- Yearly - the story of your year
Can I use Threadkeeper offline?
Yes! You can record entries anytime. They'll upload and process when you're back online.
Is my data private?
Absolutely. Your recordings are encrypted, we never read or share your content, and your data is never used to train AI. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from Settings in the app, or visit our account deletion page for instructions.
How do I export my data?
Go to Settings in the app and tap "Export Data" to download all your recordings and summaries.
App Issues
The app won't open or crashes
Try these steps:
- Force quit the app and reopen it
- Make sure you have the latest version installed
- Restart your device
- If issues persist, email us at support@threadkeeper.app
My recordings aren't uploading
Check that you have an internet connection. Recordings upload automatically when connected. You'll see an upload indicator if entries are waiting to sync.
